The investigation of the effect of sodium chlorite and phosphonic acid catalysts on cotton bleaching process conditions

Today's environmental and living conditions necessitate reconsideration of traditional cotton fabric bleaching processes. For this reason, it is very important for the environment economy to obtain higher whiteness values by using less water chemicals in bleaching. Sodium chlorite (NaClO2), source chlorine dioxide (ClO2) as most disinfectant, which gained popularity availability during COVID-19 pandemic, an appropriate oxidant purpose. Using NaClO2 agent has significant advantages, such reducing amount washing proses increasing strength. Another advantage reagent that causes weight loss than other reagents. Therefore, present work was intended improve process (different temperatures, concentrations, times) NaClO2.
